Who We Are

e-mail Ana Maria Mendes - Managing Partner, joined Ursula in 1978 and in 1994 when Ursula decided she could better serve the American market by living in the US, Ana Maria became a partner in the company and is now the Managing Director of the Lisbon Office, operating and supervising all on-site groups and personally accompanying all inspection trips.

e-mail Teresa Mestre - Account Director, after a four-year absence rejoined the company in 1999. With 15 years experience in the travel industry, including the cruise business and hotel industry, she has become a great asset to the company.

e-mail Ana Amorim - Account Manager, with over 10 years experience in working in the travel business making quotations, proposals and handling the operation of the groups, joined Destination Portugal in the end of 2003, becoming an additional fantastic asset to the company.

e-mail Susana Balancho - Account Manager, last but not least joined the company in July 2005 having begun her professional career in the hotel industry, which she enjoyed for eight years in several different hotels, two of them five star hotels in Lisbon, before working in a DMC company. She also has experience in sales, making costings, presentations, proposals and coordinating inspection trips and operating programs.
