If you wish a drive into the countryside to visit Braga and the famous Bom Jesus Church with a spectacular view, or drive to Guimaraes, Portugal's birthplace, with its medieval castle, walls and magnificently well preserved historic center.

You can also enjoy a boat ride up the River Douro, enjoying the beautiful sights on board one of the Cruise Boats.
